You'll engage in cutting-edge projects, some involving public interaction such as contributing to NIST's public GitHub repositories. **Please note: This job requires an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph**
Technical Skills: PYTEST and JUnit
Core Responsibilities:
- Providing end-to end testing to include unit testing, creating test plans and test procedures and other duties required.
- Collaborate on Level 1 tasks, leveraging your technical training and testing experience.
- Research and apply government test and evaluation concepts, alongside related engineering and operational activities.
- Plan and execute performance analysis, focusing on risk areas and aligning with T&E schedules.
- Engage in modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis to support testing and evaluation.
- Implement data and configuration management, supporting data authentication and discrepancy reporting.
- Coordinate with systems engineering teams, contributing to evaluation planning and risk assessment.
- Design and execute testing plans, procedures, and data collection strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and direction, ensuring quality assurance and resource management.
- Drive innovation and respond effectively to program changes and risks.
- Some of the work may require public interaction (e.g. participating on/in NIST's public GitHub) if that has any (e.g. ITAR) entanglements.
Experience Needed:
- Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen
- Existing Clearance Required: Active Top-Secret SCI with Poly
A Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Eight years of experience in test engineering for similar scope projects. (Note: An additional four years of TE experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.)
- Working knowledge of git, gitlab, and either a preferred IDE or VSCode/code-server;
- Familiarity with Behavior-driven development (BDD) in Cucumber, unit testing with at least one testing framework (e.g. JUnit, PyTest) and Terraform would also be good to brush up on.
